On Saturn
Sade Sati is a longer weather, not a sentence
Astro Infini · 2026-04-18
Sade Sati begins when Saturn transits the twelfth from the natal Moon, continues while Saturn crosses the Moon’s sign, and closes in the second from it. Three signs, roughly two and a half years each. People speak of it as if it were a single blow. It is closer to a long season with three weathers.
The rising phase is often a thinning: sleep, money, or a role that had been carried on momentum. The peak, with Saturn on the Moon, is more personal. The mind wants seriousness and resents noise. The setting phase is when the new shape of the life becomes visible, and also when people exhaust themselves trying to return to the old one.
Not every Saturn transit is Sade Sati. The fourth and eighth from the Moon are the smaller periods called Dhaiya. They pinch. They are not the same seven years.
A useful reading does not open with a year of punishment. Saturn describes the work that will not be skipped. Sometimes that work is heavy. Sometimes it is simply the career already claimed, arriving without the costume.
